| First Timers
When most people think of yoga, images of chanting and people manoeuvring into seemingly impossible positions come to mind. Yoga is NOT just for the fantastically flexible. In fact, if you are not flexible, if you cannot touch your toes, or perhaps cannot even see your toes, you are a perfect candidate for the benefits of yoga.
- No Bookings required. First time students
need to register at least 15 minutes prior to class. Please
be on time and try and avoid the 6pm class Mon-Thur for
the first 10 days as this is the largest class.
- Wear something light and fitted such
as shorts, singlet top, sportsbra or lycra gym wear. Avoid
sweats, long pants and heavy t-shirts. The room is heated
and you will sweat alot.
- Bring a positive attitude and an empty
stomach.
- Hydrate yourself by drinking 2 litres
of water before class and stop drinking 30 minutes prior.
- Bring a big towel and a bottle of water.
Both are available for a small fee at the studio. Bring
your own mat if you have one otherwise one will be provided
for you on your first class, after that you may rent them
for $2.
- Expect an overall feeling of enhanced
wellbeing.
